Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the vehicle's battery to prevent electrical shock.
2. Inspect and Replace Fuses
  • Locate the fuse box under the dashboard or hood.
  • Use a fuse puller to check for blown fuses related to the climate control system (refer to the owner's manual for specific fuse locations).
  • Replace any blown fuses with new ones of the same amperage.
3. Replace Cabin Air Filter
  • Remove the glove box by removing screws and detaching the stops.
  • Locate the cabin air filter access panel and open it.
  • Remove the old filter and install a new one (make sure it’s oriented correctly).
  • Reattach the access panel and glove box.
4. Repair or Replace Blower Motor
  • Access the blower motor by removing the lower dashboard panel.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor.
  • Check for power at the connector using a multimeter. If no power, further diagnose wiring.
  • If the blower motor is defective, remove the mounting screws and replace it with a new motor.
  • Reconnect the electrical connector and reassemble the dashboard panel.
5. Replace Climate Control Module (if needed)
  • If the climate control module is determined to be faulty, disconnect the battery again.
  • Remove the dashboard trim surrounding the climate control area.
  • Unscrew and disconnect the climate control module from its harness.
  • Install the new module and reconnect all wires, then reassemble the dashboard trim.
