Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface.
  • Turn off the engine and allow it to cool if it has been running.
2. Locate Power Steering Fluid Reservoir
  • Open the hood and secure it with the prop rod.
  • Identify the power steering fluid reservoir; it is typically labeled and located near the engine, often towards the front passenger side.
3. Check Fluid Level
  • Remove the cap from the reservoir carefully.
  • Observe the fluid level against the "MIN" and "MAX" markings on the side of the reservoir. The fluid should be between these marks.
  • If equipped with a dipstick, remove it, clean it, reinsert, and check the level again.
4. Add Fluid (if necessary)
  • If the fluid is below the "MIN" mark, add the appropriate power steering fluid as specified in the owner's manual.
  • Use a funnel to prevent spills, and add fluid slowly to avoid overfilling.
5. Replace Cap
  • After checking or adding fluid, securely replace the cap on the reservoir.
  • Close the hood properly and ensure it is latched.
