1. Preparation

2. Open the Key Fob
  • Use the small flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob casing.
  • Insert the screwdriver into the seam between the two halves of the fob and carefully twist to separate the halves without damaging the plastic.
3. Remove Old Battery

  • Note the orientation of the battery (positive side facing up).
  • Carefully lift the old battery out of the compartment using your fingers or the screwdriver.
