1. Preparation

• Gather tools and parts required for the repair.
• Ensure the engine is cool before starting work to prevent burns.
• Disconnect the battery for safety.

2. Identify and Repair Leaks

• Coolant Reservoir: If cracked or damaged, replace the coolant reservoir.
  • Remove the mounting screws and disconnect the hoses.
  • Install the new reservoir by reversing the removal process.
• Hoses: Replace any damaged or worn hoses.
  • Loosen hose clamps and remove the damaged hose.
  • Install the new hose and secure it with clamps.
• Water Pump: If leaking, replace the water pump.
  • Drain the coolant from the system.
  • Remove the drive belts and any components obstructing the water pump.
  • Unbolt the water pump and replace it with a new one, ensuring a new gasket is used.
  • Reassemble all components and refill the coolant.
