Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: OBD-II scanner, socket set, and possibly a wrench for battery terminal.
  • Ensure the vehicle is in a safe, well-ventilated area.
2. Disconnect Battery
  • Use a socket set to loosen the bolt on the negative battery terminal.
  • Carefully remove the negative terminal from the battery post and ensure it does not touch any metal parts of the vehicle.
3. Wait for Power Drain
  • Leave the vehicle for at least 15 minutes to ensure all electrical systems reset completely.
4. Reconnect Battery
  • Place the negative battery terminal back onto the battery post.
  • Tighten the bolt securely with the socket set, ensuring a good connection.
5. Start Engine
  • Turn the ignition key to the "On" position without starting the engine and wait for all dashboard lights to illuminate and turn off.
  • Start the engine and let it idle for a few minutes to allow the TCM to recalibrate.
