Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: small flat-head screwdriver or a prying tool.
  • Ensure you have a replacement battery: CR2032 (check the current battery type if unsure).
2. Open the Key Fob
  1. Locate the seam on the edge of the key fob.
  2. Insert the small flat-head screwdriver or prying tool into the seam.
  3. Gently twist to pry open the key fob without damaging the casing.
3. Remove the Old Battery
  1. Identify the battery position in the key fob.
  2. Carefully lift the old battery out, taking note of its orientation (positive side up).
4. Install the New Battery
  1. Insert the new CR2032 battery into the key fob, ensuring the positive side faces up.
  2. Press down gently until the battery is secured in place.
5. Reassemble the Key Fob
