Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: small flathead screwdriver and a new CR2032 battery.
  • Ensure a clean, well-lit workspace to avoid losing small parts.
2. Open the Key Fob
  • Use the small flathead screwdriver to gently pry apart the key fob along the seam.
  • Insert the screwdriver at the designated notch or seam and carefully twist to separate the two halves without damaging the plastic.
3. Remove Old Battery
  • Once the key fob is open, locate the old battery.
  • Note the orientation (+/-) of the battery before removal.
  • Carefully lift the old battery out using the flathead screwdriver or your fingers.
4. Install New Battery
  • Insert the new CR2032 battery into the key fob, ensuring that the positive (+) side is facing the same direction as the original battery.
  • Press down gently to secure the battery in place.
5. Reassemble Key Fob
