Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: OBD-II scanner, fuel pressure gauge, socket set, multimeter, cleaning supplies.
  • Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shocks when working on components.
2. Fuel System Inspection
  • Check Fuel Pressure
    • Connect the fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail.
    • Turn the ignition key to the ON position (do not start the engine) and observe the gauge reading.
    • It should match the manufacturer's specifications (typically around 40-50 psi for most Honda models).
    • If low, inspect and replace the fuel filter and check the fuel pump operation.
3. Throttle Body Cleaning
  • Remove Throttle Body
    • Disconnect the air intake duct and any electrical connectors.
    • Unbolt the throttle body using the socket set.
  • Clean Throttle Body
    • Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the inside of the throttle body.
    • Ensure the throttle plate operates smoothly.
  • Reinstall Throttle Body
    • Bolt it back in place and reconnect all electrical connectors and air intake duct.
4. Transmission Fluid Check
  • Inspect Transmission Fluid
    • Locate the transmission dipstick, remove it, and check the fluid level and condition (should be red and not burnt).
    • If low, add the appropriate transmission fluid as specified in the owner’s manual.
5. Spark Plug Inspection
  • Remove Spark Plugs
    • Disconnect the ignition coils and remove the spark plugs using the socket set.
  • Inspect and Replace as Necessary
    • Check for wear and replace any plugs that appear damaged.
    • Reinstall the spark plugs and coils securely.
