my Honda Accord key fob isn't working how do I fix it

1. Preparation

• Gather necessary tools and parts.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked and the ignition is off.

2. Open Key Fob

• Use a small flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob casing.
• Be cautious to avoid damaging the plastic clips.

3. Replace Battery

• Remove the old battery from the key fob.
• Insert a new battery (typically CR2032) with the correct polarity (+/-).
• Ensure the battery is seated properly in its compartment.

4. Reassemble Key Fob

• Align the two halves of the key fob casing.
• Press them together until they click securely back into place.

5. Reprogram Key Fob (if necessary)

• Sit inside the vehicle with the doors closed.
