Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on electrical components.
2. Inspect and Replace Fuses
  • Locate the fuse box under the dashboard and check the specific fuse for the climate control system.
  • Replace the fuse if it is blown with a new fuse of the same amperage.
3. A/C System Recharge
  • Connect a refrigerant gauge set to the service ports of the A/C system.
  • Check the low and high-pressure readings; if low, add refrigerant according to manufacturer specifications.
  • Monitor the system while adding refrigerant until the correct level is achieved.
4. Replace Blower Motor (if necessary)
  • Remove the passenger side lower dash cover to access the blower motor.
  • Disconnect the electrical connector from the blower motor.
  • Unscrew and remove the blower motor from its housing.
  • Install the new blower motor and reconnect the electrical connector.
  • Reassemble the dash cover.
5. Climate Control Module Reset
  • After repairs, reconnect the battery.
  • Start the engine and set the climate control to maximum heating and cooling for 5 minutes each.
  • This resets the climate control module and recalibrates the system.
