Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: OBD-II scanner, multimeter, socket set, and screwdrivers.
  • Disconnect the vehicle's battery to ensure safety during the repair.
2. Replace the Wiper Control Switch
  • Remove the steering column covers:

    1. Use a screwdriver to remove screws securing the covers.
    2. Gently pry apart the covers to access the control switch.
  • Disconnect the wiper control switch:

    1. Locate the connector at the back of the switch.
    2. Press the release tab and pull the connector away.
  • Install the new wiper control switch:

    1. Connect the new switch to the wiring harness until you hear a click.
    2. Position the switch back into the steering column.
  • Reassemble the steering column covers:
