Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Lint-free cloth or paper towel
  • Park the vehicle on a level surface, turn on the engine, and engage the parking brake.
  • Ensure the transmission is in "Park" or "Neutral" during the process.
2. Access the Dipstick
  • Locate the transmission dipstick in the engine compartment.
  • If necessary, refer to the owner's manual for the exact location.
  • Remove the dipstick by pulling it out of the tube.
3. Check Fluid Level
  • Wipe the dipstick clean using the lint-free cloth or paper towel to avoid contamination.
  • Reinsert the dipstick fully back into the tube.
  • Remove the dipstick again and check the fluid level.
4. Assess Fluid Condition
  • Inspect the fluid on the dipstick:
    • It should be a clear reddish color.
    • If the fluid is dark, burnt, or has a burnt smell, it may need to be replaced.
    • If the fluid is low, add the appropriate type of transmission fluid as specified in the owner’s manual.
5. Reinsert the Dipstick
  • Once the fluid level and condition are verified, reinsert the dipstick securely back into the tube.
