Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: fuse puller or needle-nose pliers, multimeter, replacement fuses.
  • Ensure the vehicle is in park and the ignition is turned off.
  • Disconnect the battery if working on high-power circuits.
2. Locate the Fuse Box
  • Open the driver's side door and locate the fuse box cover on the left side of the dashboard.
  • Remove the cover by pressing the tabs or releasing any screws.
3. Inspect Fuses
  • Refer to the fuse box diagram on the back of the cover or in the owner’s manual.
  • Identify the fuse corresponding to the malfunctioning component.
  • Pull the fuse using the fuse puller or needle-nose pliers.
4. Test the Fuse
  • Set the multimeter to the continuity setting.
  • Place the probes on both ends of the fuse.
    • If the multimeter beeps or shows continuity, the fuse is good.
    • If there is no continuity, the fuse is blown and needs replacement.
5. Replace the Fuse
  • Select a replacement fuse of the same amperage rating as the original (indicated on the fuse).
  • Insert the new fuse into the same slot securely.
  • Recheck the fuse box for any other damaged fuses if necessary.
6. Reassemble
  • Replace the fuse box cover and ensure it is secured.
  • Reconnect the battery if it was disconnected.
  • Start the vehicle and test the electrical components to ensure they are functioning.
