Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • Socket set
    • Screwdriver set
    • Power steering fluid (as specified in the owner's manual)
    • Clean rags
    • Funnel
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface.
  • Disconnect the battery (negative terminal) for safety.
2. Fill Power Steering Fluid
  • Open the power steering fluid reservoir cap.
  • Using a funnel, add the recommended power steering fluid until it reaches the "FULL" mark on the reservoir.
3. Bleed the System
  • Start the Engine: With the power steering fluid cap off, start the engine.
  • Turn the Steering Wheel: Slowly turn the steering wheel from lock to lock (full left to full right) several times to circulate the fluid and push out any trapped air.
  • Check Fluid Level: After turning, check the fluid level again. If it has dropped, add more fluid as necessary.
  • Repeat: Continue the process of turning the wheel while checking the fluid level until no air bubbles are visible in the reservoir and the fluid is at the full mark.
4. Final Check
  • After bleeding, turn the engine off and inspect for leaks around the power steering pump and hoses.
  • Recheck the fluid level in the reservoir and top off if needed.
  • Replace the reservoir cap securely.
