Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather Tools: Multimeter, screwdriver set, socket set.

2. Remove the Steering Column Covers
  • Use a screwdriver to remove screws securing the lower steering column cover.
  • Carefully pry off the upper cover to access the ignition switch assembly.
3. Disconnect the Ignition Switch
  • Locate the ignition switch connected to the steering column.
  • Unplug the wiring harness from the ignition switch by pressing the release tab and pulling it out gently.
4. Replace the Ignition Switch
  • Remove the screws securing the ignition switch to the steering column.
  • Take out the faulty ignition switch.
  • Install the new ignition switch in place, tightening screws to the manufacturer's specified torque (typically around 5-7 Nm).
