Solution

1. Preparation

• Gather tools and materials: OBD-II scanner, socket set, throttle body cleaner, multimeter.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the ignition is off.
• Disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on electrical components.

2. Clean the Throttle Body

• Remove the intake duct to access the throttle body.
• Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth or brush to clean any carbon deposits from the throttle body.
• Ensure the throttle plate moves freely and is not obstructed.
• Reinstall the intake duct securely.

3. Check and Replace the Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor (if necessary)

• Disconnect the electrical connector from the accelerator pedal position sensor.
• Using a multimeter, test the sensor's output voltage while pressing the pedal.
• If the readings are outside the manufacturer's specifications, replace the sensor.
• Reconnect the electrical connector and ensure it is secure.

4. Inspect and Clean the MAF Sensor

• Locate the MAF sensor in the intake system.
• Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the sensor from the duct.
