Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is off.
  • Raise the vehicle using a jack and secure it with jack stands.
2. Remove Wheel
  • Use a socket set to remove the lug nuts and take off the front wheel.
  • Inspect the brake components for any abnormalities while the wheel is removed.
3. Inspect and Replace Components
  • Sway Bar Links:

    • Disconnect the sway bar links from the sway bar and control arm using a socket set.
    • Replace with new sway bar links if they show signs of wear.
  • Shock Absorbers:

    • Remove the top mounting bolts of the shock absorbers using a socket set.
    • Disconnect the lower mounting bolts and carefully remove the shock.
    • Install the new shock absorber and torque the bolts to manufacturer specifications.
  • Control Arm Bushings:

    • If bushings are damaged, remove the control arm by loosening the bolts.
    • Press out the old bushings using a bushing tool.
    • Install new bushings and reassemble the control arm.
4. Reassemble
  • Reattach the sway bar links and ensure they are properly torqued.
  • Reinstall the wheel and torque the lug nuts to the manufacturer’s specifications.
  • Lower the vehicle back to the ground.
