1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: Flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the ignition is turned off.
2. Access the Cabin Air Filter
  • Open the glove compartment and empty its contents.
  • Locate the stop arm on both sides of the glove compartment and gently push inward to release it.
  • Allow the glove compartment to fully drop down to access the filter compartment.
3. Remove the Cabin Air Filter
  • Locate the cabin air filter cover; it is usually a rectangular panel.
  • Use a flathead screwdriver or trim removal tool to gently pry off the cover.
  • Pull out the old cabin air filter from its slot, taking care not to let any debris fall into the HVAC system.
4. Install the New Cabin Air Filter
  • Take the new cabin air filter and make sure it is oriented correctly according to the airflow arrows marked on the filter.
  • Slide the new filter into the slot, ensuring it fits snugly.
  • Reinstall the cabin air filter cover by snapping it back into place.

  • Lift the glove compartment back into its original position.
  • Reattach the stop arms on both sides to secure the glove compartment.
