Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: socket set, brake fluid, brake bleeder kit, wrench set.
  • Ensure the vehicle is on a level surface and secure it with wheel chocks.
2. Check and Top Off Brake Fluid
  • Open the master cylinder reservoir cap.
  • If the fluid level is low, add the appropriate brake fluid (usually DOT 3 or DOT 4).
  • Replace the cap securely.
3. Bleed the Brake System
  • Tools Required: Brake bleeder kit.
  • Start at the wheel farthest from the master cylinder (usually the rear passenger side).
  • Connect the brake bleeder kit to the bleeder valve.
  • Have an assistant pump the brake pedal several times and hold it down.
  • Open the bleeder valve to allow fluid and air to escape, then close it while the pedal is still down.
  • Repeat until you see clear fluid without bubbles.
  • Move to the next wheel and repeat the process (rear driver side, front passenger side, front driver side).
4. Inspect and Replace Brake Components (if necessary)
  • Remove the wheel and inspect brake pads and rotors.
  • If pads are worn below the minimum thickness or if rotors are scored, replace them.
  • Use a torque wrench to tighten caliper bolts to factory specifications.
