my Ford Mustang S650 (2024-Present) is using too much gas, what could be wrong?

• Gather necessary tools and parts.
• Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.
• Allow the engine to cool down before starting work.

2. Replace Air Filter

• Locate the air intake housing.
• Open the housing clips and remove the old air filter.
• Install a new, clean air filter, ensuring it fits snugly.
• Reassemble the intake housing and secure the clips.

3. Check and Replace Fuel Injectors (if necessary)

• Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and running the engine until it stalls.
• Disconnect the fuel lines from the injectors using a fuel line disconnect tool.
• Remove the injector retaining clips and carefully pull out the injectors.
• Inspect for debris and replace any faulty injectors with new ones.
• Reinstall the injectors, ensuring they are seated properly, and reconnect the fuel lines.

4. Clean Throttle Body

• Remove the air intake duct to access the throttle body.
• Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the inside of the throttle body, focusing on the butterfly valve.
• Reinstall the air intake duct securely.
