Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Park the vehicle on a flat surface and engage the parking brake.
  • Place wheel chocks behind the rear tires for safety.
2. Remove Wheel
  • Use a lug wrench to loosen the lug nuts while the vehicle is still on the ground.
  • Lift the vehicle using a jack and secure it with jack stands.
  • Remove the lug nuts completely and take off the wheel.
3. Inspect and Replace Brake Pads
  • Inspect Brake Pads: Check for uneven wear; if the pads are worn down, replace them.
  • Replacement Procedure:
    1. Remove the caliper bolts using a socket set.
    2. Slide the caliper off the rotor and support it, do not let it hang by the brake line.
    3. Remove old brake pads from the caliper bracket.
    4. Install new brake pads in the caliper bracket.
