Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts required for the repair.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is off.
  • Disconnect the battery to avoid any electrical issues.
2. Replace Air Filter
  • Remove the air filter housing cover using a socket set.
  • Take out the old air filter and inspect the housing for debris.
  • Install the new air filter, ensuring it is seated correctly.
  • Reattach the air filter housing cover and tighten the screws.
3. Check and Replace Spark Plugs
  • Remove the ignition coil covers using a socket set to access the spark plugs.
  • Disconnect the ignition coils and remove the spark plugs using a spark plug socket.
  • Inspect the old spark plugs for wear; replace with manufacturer-recommended plugs if necessary.
  • Reinstall the ignition coils and covers securely.
4. Clean Throttle Body
  • Remove the throttle body from the intake manifold by disconnecting the electrical connector and removing the bolts.
  • Use throttle body cleaner and a soft cloth to clean the inside of the throttle body, removing carbon deposits.
  • Reinstall the throttle body and reconnect the electrical connector.
5. Check and Replace Fuel Filter
  • Locate the fuel filter and relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump relay.
  • Disconnect the fuel lines from the filter using a fuel line removal tool.
  • Replace the old fuel filter with a new one, ensuring the flow direction matches the markings.
  • Reconnect the fuel lines and reinstall the fuel pump relay.
