Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is off.
  • Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts during the repair.
2. Inspect and Replace Fuel Filter (if necessary)
  • Locate the fuel filter (usually along the fuel line).
  • Use a fuel line disconnect tool to relieve pressure and disconnect the fuel lines.
  • Remove the fuel filter from its mounting bracket.
  • Install the new fuel filter, ensuring the flow direction is correct.
  • Reconnect the fuel lines and check for leaks before reattaching the battery.
3. Clean Throttle Body
  • Remove the air intake duct to access the throttle body.
  • Spray throttle body cleaner onto a clean cloth and wipe the inside of the throttle body to remove carbon buildup.
