Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools: small flathead screwdriver, replacement battery (CR2032), and a clean cloth.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked in a safe location and the engine is off.
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  1. Use the small flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob casing.
  2. Carefully remove the old battery, noting the orientation (positive side facing up).
  3. Insert the new battery (CR2032) into the key fob, ensuring the correct orientation.
  4. Snap the key fob casing back together securely.
3. Reprogram the Key Fob (if necessary)
  1. Enter the vehicle and close all doors.
  2. Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position (do not start the engine).
  3. Press the "Lock" button on the key fob for about 5 seconds.
