Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface, and the engine is cool.
  • Disconnect the negative battery cable to prevent electrical shorts.
2. Coolant Replacement
  • Tools Required: Drain pan, funnel, socket set
  • Place a drain pan under the radiator and open the drain valve to remove old coolant.
  • Close the drain valve once flushing is complete, and dispose of the old coolant properly.
  • Refill the radiator with a 50/50 mixture of approved antifreeze and distilled water through the filler neck.
