Solution
1. Preparation

2. Check and Refill Power Steering Fluid
  • Locate the power steering fluid reservoir.
  • Remove the cap and wipe the dipstick clean.
  • Reinsert the dipstick to check the fluid level; add the appropriate type of power steering fluid if low (consult owner’s manual for specifications).
3. Inspect and Replace Power Steering Pump (if necessary)

  • 3.1. Remove the Serpentine Belt

    • Use a socket and ratchet to relieve tension on the belt tensioner.
    • Slide the belt off the power steering pump pulley.

  • 3.2. Remove the Power Steering Pump

    • Disconnect the power steering fluid lines using a line wrench (be prepared for fluid spill).
