Solution
1. Preparation
  • Ensure all tires are inflated to the recommended pressure as indicated on the driver’s door jamb sticker.
  • Gather necessary tools: Tire pressure gauge, TPMS reset button.
2. Reset the TPMS
  1. Turn the Ignition On
    • Insert the key and turn it to the "ON" position without starting the engine.
  2. Locate the TPMS Reset Button
    • Find the TPMS reset button, usually situated beneath the steering column.
  3. Press the TPMS Reset Button
    • Press and hold the reset button until the TPMS light blinks three times. This indicates that the system is resetting.
  4. Start the Engine
    • Start the vehicle and let it run for approximately 20 minutes. This will allow the new tire pressure settings to register with the TPMS.
  5. Check the Tire Pressure Light
    • After 20 minutes, check if the tire pressure light has turned off. If the light is still on, repeat the reset process.
