Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: flathead screwdriver, multimeter, new battery (if needed).
  • Ensure vehicle is turned off and in a safe working environment.
2. Replace Key Fob Battery
  1. Open the Key Fob:
    • Use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob casing.
  2. Remove Old Battery:
    • Carefully take out the old battery, noting its orientation.
  3. Install New Battery:
    • Insert the new battery in the same orientation as the old one.
  4. Reassemble Key Fob:
    • Snap the fob casing back together securely.
3. Reprogram Key Fob (if necessary)
  1. Enter Programming Mode:
    • Sit in the driver’s seat and close all doors.
    • Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position (not starting the engine) and then back to "Off" at least 8 times within 10 seconds.
