Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required:
    • OBD-II scanner
    • Multimeter
    • Screwdriver set
    • Torque wrench
    • Wire stripper/crimper
  • Disconnect the vehicle battery to prevent electrical shock.
2. Replace the Fuse
  • Locate the fuse box (usually under the dashboard or in the engine compartment).
  • Remove the cover and identify the power window fuse using the diagram on the cover.
  • Pull out the fuse using fuse pullers or pliers. Inspect for a blown fuse (the filament will be broken).
  • If blown, replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage.
3. Repair or Replace Window Switches
  • Remove the door panel using a screwdriver to access the window switch assembly.
  • Disconnect the wiring harness from the old switch.
  • Test the switch with a multimeter. If it shows no continuity, replace with a new switch.
  • Reconnect the new switch to the wiring harness and reassemble the door panel.
4. Repair Window Motors (if needed)
  • If the switches are functional, check the window motors.
  • Remove the door panel to access the motor.
  • Disconnect the motor wiring and apply direct power from a battery to test functionality.
  • If the motor does not operate, disconnect it and replace it with a new window motor.
  • Reassemble the door panel after installation.
