Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure you have a replacement battery for the key fob (typically CR2032).
  • Work in a clean, well-lit area.
2. Open the Key Fob
  • Use a small flathead screwdriver to carefully pry open the key fob casing.
  • Take care not to damage the plastic casing during this process.
3. Replace the Battery
  • Remove the old battery from the key fob.
  • Install the new battery, ensuring the positive side (+) is facing the correct direction as indicated inside the fob.
  • Reassemble the key fob casing, ensuring it snaps securely back together.
4. Reprogram the Key Fob
  • Sit in the driver's seat with all doors closed.
  • Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "On" position (not starting the engine) and then back to "Off" eight times within 10 seconds.
