Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts. Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and is secured with wheel chocks.
  • Tools required: Jack, jack stands, lug wrench, torque wrench, runout gauge, brake cleaner, and a dial indicator.
2. Remove Wheel
  • Loosen the lug nuts slightly while the vehicle is still on the ground.
  • Raise the vehicle using a jack and secure it with jack stands.
  • Remove the lug nuts completely and take off the wheel for access to the brake components.
3. Inspect Brake Components
  • Check the brake pads for uneven wear; replace if worn beyond specifications.
