Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to ensure safety.
  • Tools required: socket set, multimeter, OBD-II scanner, wire brush (for cleaning terminals).
2. Clean Battery Terminals
  • Remove the positive and negative battery terminals.
  • Use a wire brush to clean any corrosion from the terminals and the battery posts.
  • Reattach the terminals securely to ensure a good connection.
3. Replace Battery (if necessary)
  • If the battery voltage is low or the battery is old:
    1. Remove the battery hold-down bracket with a socket set.
    2. Carefully lift the battery out of the tray.
    3. Install the new battery in the reverse order, ensuring it is secured and terminals are tightened.
4. Inspect and Replace Alternator (if necessary)
  • If the alternator is not charging properly:
    1. Remove the serpentine belt using a wrench to relieve tension.
    2. Disconnect the alternator wiring harness.
    3. Remove the mounting bolts and take out the alternator.
    4. Install the new alternator and reconnect the wiring harness.
    5. Reinstall the serpentine belt.
5. Check and Replace Headlight Bulbs (if necessary)
  • If headlight bulbs are damaged:
    1. Remove the headlight assembly as per the vehicle's service manual.
    2. Disconnect the bulb connector, twist the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove it.
    3. Install the new bulb (ensure not to touch the glass with bare hands).
    4. Reassemble the headlight assembly.
