Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: OBD-II scanner, fuel pressure gauge, socket set, torque wrench, and cleaning supplies.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface, and the engine is cool.
2. Clean or Replace Air Filter
  • Remove the air filter cover using a socket set.
  • Inspect the air filter; if dirty, clean it or replace it with a new one.
  • Reinstall the air filter cover securely.
3. Test and Replace Fuel Pump (if necessary)
  • Connect the fuel pressure gauge to the fuel rail test port.
  • Turn the ignition to the ON position (do not start the engine) and check the fuel pressure.
  • If the pressure is below specifications (refer to the service manual), replace the fuel pump:
    • Disconnect the battery.
    • Relieve fuel system pressure.
    • Remove the fuel tank and replace the pump.
    • Reinstall the tank and reconnect the battery.
