Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to avoid electrical shock.
2. Check and Replace Fuse
  • Tools Required: Fuse puller or needle-nose pliers
  • Open the fuse box located under the dashboard on the driver's side.
  • Locate the fuse for the instrument panel lights. Refer to the owner’s manual for the correct fuse number.
  • Inspect the fuse visually; if it is blown (the metal strip is broken), remove it.
  • Replace with a new fuse of the same amperage rating.
3. Inspect and Replace Dashboard Bulbs
  • Tools Required: Screwdriver set, possibly a trim removal tool
  • Remove the dashboard trim panel using a trim removal tool or screwdriver.
  • Unscrew the instrument cluster assembly and gently pull it out.
  • Locate the bulb sockets on the back of the cluster and twist them counterclockwise to remove.
  • Inspect the bulbs; if any are burnt out, replace them with new bulbs of the same type.
  • Reassemble the instrument cluster by reversing the removal steps.
4. Check Wiring Connections
  • Tools Required: Multimeter
  • With the dashboard assembly still accessible, check all wiring connections for tightness.
  • Use a multimeter to check for continuity through the wiring harness.
  • Repair any damaged wires or connectors as necessary.
