Solution

1. Preparation

• Gather necessary tools and parts.
• Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is turned off.
• Disconnect the vehicle battery to prevent electrical shock.

2. Check Refrigerant Levels

• Tools Required: Manifold gauge set.
• Connect the low and high-pressure hoses from the manifold gauge set to the appropriate service ports on the AC system.
• Start the engine and turn the AC to the maximum setting.
• Read the pressure gauges; if the refrigerant level is low, proceed to recharge the system.

3. Recharge the AC System

• Parts Required: R-134a refrigerant.
• Using the manifold gauge set, attach the refrigerant canister to the low-pressure service port.
