Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and set the parking brake.
  • Disconnect the battery to prevent any electrical shorts.
2. Clean or Replace Throttle Body
  • Remove the air intake duct connected to the throttle body.
  • Use throttle body cleaner and a soft brush to clean the inside of the throttle body.
  • If the throttle body is faulty, remove it using a socket set, and replace it with a new unit.
  • Reconnect the air intake duct securely.
3. Check and Change Transmission Fluid
  • Place a drain pan under the transmission and remove the transmission pan bolts.
  • Allow fluid to drain completely and inspect for metal shavings or debris.
  • Replace the filter if necessary and refill the transmission with the manufacturer-recommended fluid type.
  • Torque the pan bolts to manufacturer specifications.
4. Inspect and Replace Fuel Filter
  • Locate the fuel filter in the fuel line.
  • Relieve fuel system pressure according to the service manual.
  • Disconnect the fuel lines and remove the old filter.
  • Install a new fuel filter, ensuring proper orientation and connections.
5. Test and Clean Mass Airflow Sensor
  • Disconnect the MAF sensor connector.
  • Remove the MAF sensor from the intake duct.
  • Clean the sensor using MAF cleaner and let it dry before reinstalling.
  • Reconnect the sensor and check for proper operation.
