2. Check and Refill Power Steering Fluid

• Locate the power steering reservoir.
• If the fluid level is low, add the manufacturer-recommended power steering fluid until it reaches the "full" mark.
• Inspect the fluid's condition; if it appears dark or contaminated, proceed to flush the system.

3. Inspect and Replace Power Steering Pump (if necessary)

• Tools Required: Socket set, torque wrench, fluid catch pan
• Disconnect the negative battery terminal.
• Remove any components obstructing access to the power steering pump.
• Disconnect the power steering pump's inlet and outlet hoses, allowing fluid to drain into the catch pan.
• Unbolt the power steering pump from its mounting bracket.
• Install the new power steering pump by reversing the removal steps. Ensure all bolts are torqued to the manufacturer's specifications.
