Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather the necessary tools: small flathead screwdriver, replacement battery (CR2450).
  • Ensure you are working in a clean, well-lit area.
2. Open the Key Fob
  • Locate the seam on the edge of the key fob.
  • Insert the small flathead screwdriver into the seam and gently twist to pry open the fob. Be cautious to avoid damaging the plastic casing.
3. Remove the Old Battery
  • Carefully lift the battery out of the compartment using the screwdriver or your fingers. Note the orientation of the battery (positive side facing up).
4. Install the New Battery
  • Place the new CR2450 battery into the compartment, ensuring it is oriented the same way as the old battery (positive side facing up).
  • Press down gently to secure the battery in place.
5. Reassemble the Key Fob
  • Align the two halves of the key fob and press them together until you hear a click, indicating they are securely closed.
  • Ensure there are no gaps between the two halves.
