Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is off.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to reset the electronic control unit (ECU).
2. Throttle Body Cleaning (if applicable)
  • Tools Required: Throttle body cleaner, soft cloth, screwdriver set.
  • Remove the air intake duct to access the throttle body.
  • Spray throttle body cleaner onto the throttle plate and wipe clean with a soft cloth.
  • Reinstall the air intake duct securely.
3. Throttle Reset Procedure
  • Tools Required: OBD-II scanner (if required).
  • Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
  • Sit in the driver's seat and turn the ignition key to the "ON" position without starting the engine.
  • Wait for about 10 seconds to allow the throttle to reset.
  • Start the engine and let it idle for 10 minutes to allow the ECU to relearn the throttle positions.
  • During idling, observe the throttle response by gently pressing the accelerator pedal several times.
