Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the negative terminal of the battery to ensure safety while working with electrical components.
2. Replace Low Beam Bulb
  1. Access the Headlight Assembly:

    • Open the hood of the vehicle.
    • Remove the plastic cover or any trim that obstructs access to the headlight assembly.
  2. Remove the Old Bulb:

    • Locate the low beam bulb holder at the back of the headlight assembly.
    • Twist the bulb holder counterclockwise to release it from the assembly.
    • Carefully pull the old bulb out from the holder.
  3. Install the New Bulb:

    • Insert the new low beam bulb into the holder without touching the glass part to avoid oil contamination.
    • Secure the bulb by twisting the holder clockwise back into the assembly.
3. Check and Replace Fuse if Necessary
  1. Locate the Fuse Box:

    • Refer to the owner's manual to find the location of the fuse box.
  2. Inspect the Headlight Fuse:

    • Remove the fuse for the low beam headlights using a fuse puller.
    • Check if the fuse is blown (the metal strip inside will be broken).
  3. Replace the Fuse:

    • If the fuse is blown, replace it with one of the same amperage rating.
4. Test and Restore Power
  1. Reconnect Battery:

    • Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
  2. Test Headlights:

    • Turn on the low beams to verify that they are now functioning correctly.
