Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and materials.
  • Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical shorts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a flat surface and the engine is cool.
2. Remove Engine Cover
  • Remove any fasteners securing the engine cover using a socket set.
  • Lift the cover off gently and set it aside, taking care not to damage any clips.
3. Disconnect Fuel Injector Wiring
  • Identify the fuel injectors and carefully disconnect the electrical connectors for each injector.
  • Use a flathead screwdriver if necessary to release any locking tabs.
4. Remove Fuel Rail
  • Relieve fuel pressure using the Schrader valve (if equipped) to prevent fuel spray.
  • Unbolt the fuel rail from the intake manifold using the socket set.
  • Gently pull the fuel rail away from the injectors, taking care not to damage the O-rings.
5. Replace Fuel Injectors
  • Remove the old fuel injectors from the fuel rail by pulling them straight out.
  • Lubricate the O-rings of the new fuel injectors with a small amount of engine oil.
  • Insert the new injectors into the fuel rail until they snap into place.
6. Reinstall Fuel Rail
  • Position the fuel rail back onto the intake manifold.
  • Bolt the fuel rail in place, ensuring to follow torque specifications (typically around 10 Nm).
  • Reconnect the electrical connectors to each injector.
7. Reattach Engine Cover
  • Place the engine cover back on and secure it with the previously removed fasteners.
  • Reconnect the battery.
