Solution
1. Preparation
  • Tools Required: OBD-II scanner, socket set, multimeter, wire brush, electrical contact cleaner, gloves.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent any electrical shorts.
2. Remove the Faulty Relay
  • Locate the fuse box where the fuel pump relay is housed.
  • Remove the cover of the fuse box by unscrewing or unclipping it as required.
  • Identify the fuel pump relay (refer to the diagram on the fuse box cover).
  • Gently pull the relay out of its socket.
3. Install New Relay
  • Ensure the new fuel pump relay matches the specifications of the original relay.
  • Insert the new relay securely into the same socket.
  • Reattach the fuse box cover.
4. Reconnect Battery
  • Reconnect the negative battery terminal and ensure it is tight and secure.
5. Test the System
  • Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position without starting the engine to listen for the fuel pump priming.
  • Start the engine and check for normal operation.
