Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: OBD-II scanner, multimeter, socket set, screwdriver set.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface, and the engine is turned off.
  • Disconnect the battery to avoid any electrical shocks.
2. Check and Replace the Fuse
  • Locate the fuse box (typically under the dashboard or in the engine compartment).
  • Use the owner's manual to find the specific fuse for the dashboard lights.
  • Remove the fuse using a fuse puller or pliers.
  • Inspect the fuse for continuity; replace if blown with a fuse of the same amperage rating.
3. Inspect and Replace Light Bulbs
  • Remove the instrument cluster by unscrewing the screws and gently pulling it out.
  • Disconnect the wiring harness from the back of the cluster.
  • Remove the dashboard light bulbs from their sockets.
  • Test each bulb for continuity; replace any faulty bulbs with the correct type.
4. Reassemble Components
  • Reconnect the wiring harness to the instrument cluster.
  • Position the cluster back into the dashboard and secure it with screws.
  • Reinstall any trim pieces that were removed during disassembly.
5. Reconnect Battery and Test
  • Reconnect the battery terminals securely.
  • Turn on the ignition and check if the dashboard lights are functioning correctly.
