Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools: Small flathead screwdriver, CR2032 battery, multimeter.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked and in a safe area.
  • Wear safety gloves to handle components.
2. Open the Key Fob
  • Use the small flathead screwdriver to gently pry open the key fob casing.
  • Carefully separate the two halves to avoid damaging the internal components.
3. Replace the Battery
  • Remove the old CR2032 battery from its compartment.
  • Insert the new CR2032 battery, ensuring the positive (+) side is facing up.
  • Reassemble the key fob casing, aligning the two halves and pressing them together until they click.
4. Reprogram the Key Fob (if necessary)
  • Sit inside the vehicle with all doors closed.
  • Insert the key fob into the ignition slot (if applicable).
  • Turn the ignition to the "ON" position without starting the engine (if needed).
  • Press the unlock button on the key fob for a few seconds to sync it with the vehicle.
  • Turn the ignition off and remove the key fob.
5. Final Check
  • Test the key fob by pressing the unlock button to ensure it functions correctly.
  • If the key fob still does not work, further diagnostics may be required.
