Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Disconnect the negative battery terminal to prevent electrical shorts.
  • Allow the engine to cool before starting the work.
2. Remove Engine Cover
  • Unscrew the bolts securing the engine cover using a socket set.
  • Carefully lift off the engine cover and set it aside.
3. Remove Ignition Coils
  • Disconnect the electrical connectors from each ignition coil.
  • Remove the bolts securing the ignition coils with a socket set.
  • Gently pull out each ignition coil from the spark plug well.
4. Remove Spark Plugs
  • Use a spark plug socket and ratchet to unscrew each spark plug.
  • Carefully pull the spark plugs out of the cylinder head to avoid damage.
5. Install New Spark Plugs
  • Apply a small amount of anti-seize compound to the threads of the new spark plugs (if recommended by the manufacturer).
  • Hand-tighten the new spark plugs into the cylinder head, then use a torque wrench to tighten them to the manufacturer's specified torque (typically around 22 Nm or 16 lb-ft, but verify for the specific part).
  • Reinstall the ignition coils over the new spark plugs and secure them with bolts.
6. Reconnect Engine Cover
  • Place the engine cover back on and secure it with the bolts removed earlier.
  • Reconnect the negative battery terminal.
