Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather necessary tools and parts.
  • Ensure the vehicle is parked on a level surface and the engine is off.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety during repairs.
2. Identify and Replace Leaking Components
  • AC Hoses:

    1. Remove any protective covers to access the AC hoses.
    2. Disconnect the affected hoses using a wrench.
    3. Install new hoses, ensuring all connections are tight and secure.
  • Compressor:

    1. Remove the drive belt by loosening the tensioner.
    2. Disconnect electrical connectors and refrigerant lines from the compressor.
    3. Remove the compressor bolts and take out the old compressor.
    4. Install the new compressor, using new O-rings and tightening bolts to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Condenser:

    1. Remove the front grille and any components obstructing access to the condenser.
    2. Disconnect the refrigerant lines and remove the mounting bolts.
    3. Install the new condenser and reattach all lines and bolts securely.
3. Recharge the AC System
  1. Connect a manifold gauge set to the service ports.
  2. Evacuate the system using a vacuum pump for at least 30 minutes to remove moisture.
  3. Recharge the system with the manufacturer-specified amount of refrigerant.
4. Final Assembly
  • Reinstall any components removed during the process, ensuring all fasteners are torqued to specifications.
  • Reconnect the battery and perform a visual inspection to ensure everything is secure.
