Solution
1. Battery Replacement
  1. Open the Key Fob:

    • Use a small flathead screwdriver to gently pry apart the two halves of the key fob.
    • Be cautious to avoid damaging the casing.
  2. Replace the Battery:

    • Remove the old battery (usually a CR2032 or similar) from its compartment.
    • Insert a new battery, ensuring the positive (+) side is facing up.
  3. Reassemble the Key Fob:

    • Align the two halves of the fob and press them together until they snap back into place.
2. Reprogramming the Key Fob (if necessary)
  1. Enter the Vehicle:

    • Sit in the driver's seat and close all doors.
  2. Insert Key into Ignition:

    • Insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "ON" position without starting the engine.
  3. Press the Unlock Button:

    • On the key fob, press and hold the "Unlock" button for about 10 seconds.
    • While holding the "Unlock" button, press the "Lock" button three times.
  4. Turn Off Ignition:

    • Turn the ignition to the "OFF" position and remove the key.
3. Verify Functionality
  1. Test Key Fob:

    • Check if the key fob now locks/unlocks the doors and starts the engine.
  2. Monitor for Issues:

    • Ensure the dashboard no longer displays warning messages related to the key fob.
