Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather tools and parts for the repair.
  • Disconnect the battery to prevent electrical issues during work.
2. Inspect and Clean MAF Sensor
  1. Locate the MAF sensor (typically near the air intake).
  2. Remove the sensor carefully, taking care not to damage the wiring.
  3. Use a MAF cleaner spray to clean the sensor element.
  4. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling.
3. Replace Fuel Injectors (if faulty)
  1. Relieve fuel system pressure using the fuel pressure relief valve.
  2. Disconnect the battery and fuel lines from the fuel rail.
  3. Remove the fuel rail bolts and carefully detach the rail from the engine.
  4. Remove old fuel injectors from the rail and install new ones, ensuring proper seating.
  5. Reattach the fuel rail and reconnect all lines securely.
4. Clean Throttle Body
  1. Remove the air intake duct to access the throttle body.
  2. Use throttle body cleaner and a soft brush to clean the interior surfaces.
  3. Wipe off any residue with a clean cloth.
  4. Reinstall the air intake duct securely.
5. Replace Air Filter
  1. Locate and remove the air filter housing cover.
  2. Take out the old air filter and inspect for dirt or damage.
  3. Insert a new air filter, ensuring a snug fit.
  4. Reattach the housing cover.
