1. Preparation

3. Check and Replace Fuel Filter (if necessary)
  • Locate the fuel filter (usually along the fuel line).
  • Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls.
  • Disconnect the fuel lines using a line removal tool and remove the old fuel filter.
  • Install the new fuel filter, ensuring the flow direction matches the markings.
4. Clean or Replace Throttle Body
  • Remove the air intake duct to access the throttle body.
