Solution
1. Preparation
  • Gather all necessary tools and parts.
  • Park the vehicle on a flat surface and engage the parking brake.
  • Disconnect the battery to ensure safety while working on electrical components.
2. Replace Faulty Components (if identified)

A. Spark Plugs

  1. Remove the engine cover (if applicable) using a socket set.
  2. Disconnect the ignition coils from the spark plugs.
  3. Use a spark plug socket to remove the old spark plugs.
  4. Install new spark plugs, ensuring they are gapped correctly (consult manufacturer specifications).
  5. Reconnect ignition coils and replace the engine cover.

B. Ignition Coils

  1. Disconnect the battery again for safety.
  2. Remove the ignition coil connectors.
  3. Unscrew and remove the old ignition coils.
  4. Install new ignition coils, ensuring they are seated properly.
  5. Reconnect the battery.

C. Fuel Injector Cleaning/Replacement

  1. Relieve fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls.
  2. Disconnect fuel lines and electrical connectors from the fuel injectors.
  3. Remove the old injectors and install new ones, applying a small amount of engine oil to the O-rings.
  4. Reconnect all fuel lines and electrical connections.
3. Clear Error Codes
  • Use the OBD-II scanner to clear any stored error codes after repairs.
  • Reconnect the battery if it was disconnected.
